Trinity
Presbyterian Church of Chinle, Arizona is the sister church of
our congregation, Trinity Presbyterian Church, Palm Coast,
Florida.
This
is an exciting new relationship that was born out of a visit by
a member couple of our congregation who spent some time with the
Navajo Nation in and around Chinle.
At the present time, we are in the stages of planning a
2003 trip to Chinle for the purposes of meeting our brothers and
sisters in Christ and sharing in worship, fellowship and
envisioning together what this relationship shall be in the
years ahead.
We
are entering into this relationship with an understanding that
God has gifted each congregation with special gifts and graces
that we can share with each other.
From that sharing will come increased spiritual growth
and Christian understanding.
The
following is the text of the letter from the Session of Trinity
Presbyterian Church of Chinle accepting our invitation to enter
into this relationship:
| Dear
Friends, |
|
This
is to notify you that your request to enter
into a “Sister Church” relationship with
your congregation was approved at the Chinle
Trinity Presbyterian Church Session meeting on
Sunday, October 13, 2002.
The Session members are happy about
this new relationship and we hope that we can
be of service in whatever needs to be done.
This being our first endeavor, we will
need to get better acquainted.
This is our church’s e-mail address,
